Next week I will leave London, flying to Sweden and driving my car from there down to Frankfurt. There I will start as Venue Manager for the FIFA Womens's World Cup next year. Really really exited about this, special because the Final will be played in 'my' stadium!!
What happened in the last weeks in London? Basically not so much;-). I was working a lot, as usual. But each weekend I went off for skydiving. Found a nice dropzone in the North of London with awesome people. Beside jumping a lot we had good laughts together, some parties and lots of fun overall. Each weekend I stayed there at the airfield, sleeping in a small tent and going to local English pubs. Really really enjoyed it.
In all that time I learned a lot about skydiving. Also because I went once a week into the wind tunnel to improve my flying skills. So now I can jump with other people together and different formations in the sky. I learnt how to pack my own parachute (which I bought in South Africa) and I'm even confident enough to jump my own pack jobs;-)
Here the link for a movie of me jumping:

But... time to move on. One mor weekend left before I will leave the country on the way to my new challenge. And I will keep you updated of course about that!
Cheers, Juliane

Wat leuk om weer wat van je te horen! Kom je, als je in Frankfurt werkt, nog eens langs in Nijmegen? Rondje paardrijden misschien? Veel groeten van Ursula -
